There are many 'festas and feiras' in the towns of the Alentejo. The best way is to look at the 'bill boards' posted around the towns or look at the web sites. Ourique's website is: www.cm-ourique.pt
The different towns follow the same format eg. Castro Verde's nearby has the website: www.cm-castroverde.pt
The cm means 'camara' which roughly translates as 'council'. The web sites are in Portuguese mainly, but the months are similar and learning the days of the week maybe good practise if you're planning a visit.
